Agnes and Tobias, a middle aged couple, live in material comfort in the uneasy company of Agnes's booze sodden sister Claire. They are forced to re-examine their values when their flaky daughter returns home after another failed marriage, and their oldest friends arrive in the grip of an unnamed fear, seeking sanctuary. This is a mordantly witty and often painful play shot through with the quirky and the unexpected.
