Whether read as self-portraiture or formal, this exhibition looks at the ways a range of contemporary artists have acquisitioned, customised, or re-created the chair in their practice. including Phyllida Barlow, Susan Collis, Adam Colton, Dorothy Cross, Jimmie Durham, Martino Gamper, Antony Gormley, Jana Sterbak and Richard Wentworth.
