Join us to discuss ECOFeminism from the pioneers to the present times!

Prof. Alicia Puleo from the University of Valladolid (Spain), takes us on a journey to discover the history and theory of Ecofeminism. Prof. Alicia Puleo is a feminist philosopher and writer, known for the development of Ecofeminist thinking. Her essays have been published worldwide and she is recognized as one of the most relevant ecofeminist thinkers today.

Adenike Oladosu Climate Justice Activist, Ecofeminist, Ecoreporter & Founder of I Lead Climate, will discuss the misconceptions and the intersectionality of Ecofeminism. I Lead Climate is a pan-Africa movement that carries out grassroots-based climate action such as the advocacy on the restoration of Lake Chad, raising awareness about climate induced problems in conflict zones & African societies for disarmament, regional stability & the sustainence of livelihoods.

Roshini Thamotheram, WEN's Campaign Projects Coordinator, will discuss Ecofeminism in our everyday lives. Roshini is a representative of Women Environmental Network (WEN), a charity working on issues that connect gender, health and the environment. She is an outdoor educator, activist with marginalised groups & passionate about social justice. She recently completed an MA in Race, Media and Social Justice at Goldsmiths University.
