The Association Chain de Papier persents Biennale International des Arts des Fibres et du Papier, an exhibiton of handmade 2D and 3D sculptural works exploring themes of transformation, metamorphosis and profound memory.
The exhibition shows that paper art can be an environmentally friendly fine art form. Artisits can communicate ideas, philosophies, emotions and ideals using basic natural plant fibres and recycled materials.
Inspired by and including works from, papermaker/artist Charmian Pollock's Ghost Croft Archive, the exhibition includes complimentary works from 60 international paper artists selected for quality and diversity.
Meet the artists at the opening of the exhibition at midday on 28 March. A catalogue and limited edition collection will be for sale.
