East London Printmakers' Summer Open Studio is a great way to see the facilities, learn about printmaking, take part in a print demo and meet the artists!

About

On Sunday 16th June East London Printmakers will be opening the doors to their printmaking studio on Copperfield Road, by Regent's Canal/ Mile End Park. Our Summer Open Studio will feature printmaking demonstrations, live drawing, print sale, music and sangria! All welcome, free entry. Come and see where the prints are made, meet the artists, and learn more about the magical processes of printmaking!

Printmaking Demonstrations:

Lino Print with Steve Edwards

Kitchen Lithography with Caroline Whitehead

Relief Print with Clare Humphries

Drypoint with Ann Norfield

Screenprinting with Eliza Southwood

Live portrait drawing by Judith Symons. Drawings will be projected onto the wall, with images emailed to sitters for free!

We will also be having a Box Set sale, with all prints made prior to 2018 for our annual Box Sets available for only £25, as well as our £10 proof sale and new Card Stall, with cards made by ELP artists.

East London Printmakers is an independent CIC non-profit organisation that works to support its artists, teach affordable printmaking workshops and provides supported Open Access printmaking sessions for more experienced printmakers. ELP also provides a platform for graduate and emerging artists through Artist in Residence and Project Keyholder residency programmes.
