About
EASA: An Exhibition will be one of the most comprehensive exhibitions about EASA mounted in the twenty-nine year history of the network. It will explain what EASA is to its next host city and country.Archive photographs, drawings, built and theoretical work, models and films will all be used to show the history, achievements and culture of EASA, the progress so far of easa010 Manchester and our plans for this summer's Assembly, and the future direction of the network.
The exhibition's private view will coincide with the final day of Manchester's SESAM (Small European Student of Architecture Meeting, www.sesam010.co.uk), a week-long event where fourteen European architecture students come to Manchester to take part in a short student-led workshop. One room of the exhibition will be devoted to an installation which they will make to communicate their responses to the city and the results of the workshop, and they will be around at the preview to talk to guests about EASA and their work.
