About

With the support and guidance of experienced lecturers in a range of subject specialisms you will work with botanical/vegetable dying, jewellery and ceramics. Through tutor-led projects you will learn techniques across a range of art practices including textiles, ceramics, jewelry and fine art. Students will learn vegetable/botanical dying and textile printmaking in our fashion department during the first weeks of the course. You will then move to our specialist 3D workshop for sessions in eco/upcycled jewellery, followed by further weeks exploring sustainable pottery techniques. The final weeks of the course are taught in our art studios with a focus on Fine Art and reusing found objects. Sessions are taught by subject specialist tutors at the Creative Industries Centre.
