About
In association with the King Richard III Visitor Centre, an exhibition of King Richard III inspired pieces will be carved live throughout the City Festival by Nicola and a team of international artists.
Their aim is to interpret the Dynasty, Death and Discovery theme of the Visitor Centre’s exhibition in various exciting and conceptual ways around Leicester’s famous heritage hot-spots.
Over the bank holiday weekend, workshops will be available for people of all ages to create their own sculptures. Experts will be on hand to show the tricks of the trade and the artists will be available to answer questions.
These giant works of art will be on display for 4 weeks, supported as part of the Culture Fund Project, a programme to enhance cultural activity across key events in 2015.
