Casgliad o weithiau celf cyfoes a gomisiynwyd fel rhan o brosiect Literary Atlas of Wales. // A collection of contemporary artworks commissioned as part of the Literary Atlas of Wales project

About

Mae Dychmygiadau Cartograffig yn cyflwyno casgliad ysbrydoledig o waith celf a gomisiynwyd mewn ymateb i ddeuddeg nofel Saesneg sydd wedi’u lleoli yng Nghymru. Mae'r rhain yn rhan o brosiect ehangach Literary Atlas of Wales, sy’n archwilio sut mae nofelau Saesneg a leolir yng Nghymru yn cyfrannu at ddealltwriaeth o natur real a dychmygedig y wlad.

Yn arddangos gwaith newydd gan artistiaid cyfoes sy'n archwilio'r cysylltiadau dychmygus rhyfeddol rhwng pobl a lleoedd

Mae prosiect Literary Atlas of Wales  yn cael ei ariannu gan Gyngor Ymchwil y Celfyddydau a'r Dyniaethau.

Cartographic Imaginaries presents an inspiring collection of commissioned artwork in response to twelve English language novels set in Wales. These form part of the wider Literary Atlas of Wales project which explores how English language novels set in Wales contribute to our understanding of the real and imagined nature of this country.

Showcasing new works by contemporary artists who explore the fascinating imaginative connections between people and places.

The Literary Atlas of Wales project is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
