With a social/political consciousness, this small-scale mixed-media suite of 20-30 works seek to not only introduce a personal URBAN EXPRESSIONISM style; but also to convey the peculiar and systematic nature and inspiration that enlivens a work of art. So much of the self has dominated modern works of art; and the Spirit has been pushed out. This action leaves a work of art dead and unable to provoke thought deeper than the aesthetic plane. Art should possess an existential nature that reaches far beyond the aesthetic plane. Therefore, the works of art created are initiated and executed with a passionate and more viable sense that substantiates this existence and meaning.
