About

Workshop with Annette Pugh ARBSA

Inspired by shape, pattern and abstract design, this is a great basic introduction to etching that will provide knowledge, technical skills and build confidence in intaglio printmaking.

Suitable for beginners
This course is particularly good for those who wish to develop decorative images and wish to discover the joys of print and the plexiglass plate process.

Anne has had a varied career, working at Pinewood Film Studios, in theatres, as a window dresser, and for the Arts Council. She has also taught for many years, most recently at Solihull College of Technology. Anne was elected as an associate of the RBSA in 1999, and as a full member in 2000. Her work has been exhibited widely, including at the Royal Academy Summer Show. She has staged several one woman shows at venues such as Lichfield Cathedral. Anne’s main medium is printmaking.
