FEM Zine is a zine, a publishing house, event space, and online platform which promotes greater diversity in media and platforms emerging and underrepresented artists.
About
FEM Zine's Drink & Draw events at Bow Arts' RAW Labs space bring an online conversation to real life. Guests are invited to draw as we speak on the chosen topic, write down important or interesting points that others make. This work will then be archived as collaborative visual work at RAW Labs.
Hosted by sexual health blogger and activist Rukiat Ashawe, at 1 March's Drink & Draw we'll be discussing STIs, the stigmas surrounding them and the hard facts. We will be decolonising our understanding and previous education on sexual health and wellbeing, and look to how we can educate positively in the future, especially in this climate of online censorship.
