About
Come and experience artist Magz Hall’s bespoke dream space in Art for the Environment at the Nunnery Gallery. Record your dreams to Magz’s four radiophonic dream channels, tuned to the themes of earth, air, fire and water. These elements will be explored through the lifecycle of trees – propagation, growth, death and rebirth – ideas that are central to the evolution of Magz’s dream shed. Participants are invited to write down their dreams and bring them along to the workshop, ready to share and record with Magz.
Magz Hall is a sound, radio artist and co-founder of Radio Arts, exploring the artistic potential of radio and its use outside of conventional settings. Her new dream space follows the work Whispering Trees, an interactive trail of radio transmissions, originally designed for Bedgebury National Forest, where members of the public would record dreams to broadcast from the trees in a wooden hideaway.
