Two days of immersive art for 5 to 11 year olds as part of Spike Island Open Studios 2018.
Morning sessions: 11am–1pm (free, booking required, limited to 12 participants)
Create and take away your own 3D collages and storyboards from reimagined stories.
Afternoon sessions: 2.30–4.30pm (free, drop-in)
Play with projection, collage and sculpture.
Laura Phillimore
Laura Phillimore (b. London, 1984) works across a variety of mediums including installation, sculpture and collage and trained at Bristol Old Vic theatre school in Theatre and Costume design. Her diverse background in performance and theatre design, invites audiences into playful and often surreal visual narratives in her art work.
She is currently working on a number of community focussed projects and is founder of Dream & Make, exploring narrative led immersive art experiences for children and families in London and the South West.
Laura is Learning Curator at Gerald Moore Gallery in London.
