Drawing the Graphic Novel Emily Haworth-Booth Studio 2, 10am - 5pm Book now £200 For beginners this intensive one week course offers an ideal introduction to ‘writing with pictures' and guidance will be given on everything from choosing tools to generating ideas. For those with experience, this is a chance to reconsider both style and process, receive feedback, experiment with different techniques and begin new projects. We will also spend some time drawing from life with an emphasis on combining observation with imagination and memory. By the final day students will have written, drawn and inked at least one graphic short story. Open to all levels and ages from 16 plus. Please note that the focus will be on alternative rather than superhero comics.
