We'll be inspired by the circus and performance inspired paintings in the Royal Society of British Artists Annual Exhibition for this Drawing Session and are delighted to have Bex, an incredible Balloon Artist come and do balloon modelling live for us to draw.
About
With all the festivities around the Circus 250 celebrations, marking 250 years of the Circus in Britain, members of the Royal Society of British Artists seem to have been even more inspired by the Big Top than usual.
Bex Balloons creates intricate and mind-boggling shapes from balloons for festivals, premiers and has been seen on TV.
Our Drawing Sessions, formerly known as Coffee Mornings, are a great chance to do some sketching, whether you are a seasoned artist or a first timer. Bring along your sketchbook and pencils, if you don't have any there are free drawing materials generously provided by Winsor & Newton.
If you don't fancy picking up a pencil, these events are perfect for those of you who love popping in to have an informal chat about art with other visitors and members of the Mall Galleries team.
