About
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Artist and animator Molly Andrews is returning to the studio this November to lead another sequential imagery workshop. In Molly’s workshop we will be drawing from film to make several quick drawings which will develop later in the workshop to a more considered drawing.
Her last workshop in June was a lot of fun, watching short clips from films together, collectively deciding on a still to draw from, and pulling imagery from an eclectic mix of films including The Wickerman (1973), A Taste of Honey (1961), and a 1920’s german silent horror film The Cabinet of Dr Caligari.
Materials are included.
Format: Our Thursday evening series of workshops will focus on extending drawing through low-tech, low cost, DIY techniques. The creatives leading each workshop are young and emerging, yet each is working in a strong and accomplished way with their approach and materials.
Thursday, 10 November
6:30-8:30pm
