This sequence of 10 evening lessons covers the fundamental aspects of drawing. You will gain confidence in your ability to sketch and make visible your ideas more effectively.
About
Over the course you will gain confidence and more fluidity as a drawer using pencil, ink and charcoal. Each session takes one element of drawing as its starting point: line, tempo, generic/specific representation, volume, framing & margins, interior & exterior spaces, the use of erasure & tone, scale & proportion, perspective, and repetition & variation. Luci Eyers designed the course for drawers from different professions and levels of experience - with a bit of art history thrown in. Feedback and discussion within the small (max.10) group is an enjoyable part of learning within our friendly studio. Materials are included.
