Drawing at The National Gallery

About

Tutors: Catherine Goodman & Mark Cazalet Date: Monday 12th December - Friday 16th December (Classes run from 10am-5pm) Venue: The National Gallery Price: £200 Escape the Christmas shopping rush in London by joining us for 5 days at The National Gallery. During the hectic build up to the festive holiday season it can be hard to find space for creative reflection. As an alternative to the bustle of West-end shopping why not join us at The National Gallery for five calm days of intensive engagement with selected masterpieces of the collection? Based around drawing directly from the paintings in situ, we will examine the changing interpretations of what it is to be human, as depicted by the greatest artists over the previous seven centuries. The Prince's Drawing School is part of The Prince's Charities, a group of not-for-profit organisations of which The Prince of Wales is President. We are one of only a few art schools in the world offering in-depth, quality tuition for those who wish to develop their observational drawing skills. All of our courses are taught by distinguished artists and teachers from leading institutions including The Royal Academy, The Royal College of Art and The Slade. Students of all levels of experience are welcome on all of our courses. Book this course at: www.princesdrawingschool.org or call 0207 613 8568
