In this course students take a broad look at the British Museum collection – at different cultures and the themes they share, as well as what it was that made them essentially different from one another. To progress with the art we make now it is necessary to acknowledge our past. By drawing in the British Museum we make contact with the past as a living element and this enriches our mind and understanding of the world we now inhabit. Don’t forget to bring a stool.
