How do you draw stories? Join graphic novel tutor Emily and storytelling actor Clemence for a fun and interactive evening experiencing the many different ways of telling a story.

About

Taking a well-known folktale as its starting point, this storytelling workshop will begin by playing games to take us into the magical world of the story. Next we will look in more detail at iconic moments from our story and how we can bring these to life in the space and on the page, before investigating other elements of story, such as drawing characters and their interaction. In this experiential drawing class we will be both the model and the drawer, helping us to understand both still and moving poses from the inside out. Come and explore with us how drawing and moving enrich each other! If you are an experienced drawer looking for new perspectives or a beginner who wants to try drawing in a creative environment, this class is for you!
