Donald Urquhart's PLAGUES

PLAGUES is a new 'radio play' by Donald Urquhart and will be performed live by cast of performers with costume changes, pre-recorded sound effects and songs. Inspired by a range of influences from Grey Gardens and Sunset Boulevard to gay Australians, the performance will be a campy tragicomic extravaganza. The new performance commission has been co-produced by Studio Voltaire and Transmission Gallery, Glasgow, where the performance will tour in June. Previous performances include The House of Tears, Art Perform/ Art Basel Miami Beach (2007) and Noir Noel, The Horse Hospital/Artangel (2003). The artist is represented by Herald St, London and Maureen Paley, London.
