We are pleased to announce that on June 13th, we will be opening the solo exhibition of Vienna based artist Dominik Scharfer (*1995 in Klagenfurt, Austria).
Opening on thursday, June 13th 2024 at FLOMYCA (Morsegasse 1C, Vienna).

About
Dominik Scharfer's works skillfully navigate between humor and tragedy, good and evil, as well as reality and imagination. These contrasts form the core of his creations, revealing both everyday scenes and the deeper tragedy of the present. Scharfer bridges this tension by incorporating humor and rediscovering the innocent and carefree.
His pieces resemble a journey through time, where the naivety of the past encounters the seriousness of the present. The playful depictions of cheeky figures and objects, along with the rich layers of vibrant acrylic and cold enamel paints, captivate every viewers' attention.
Dominik Scharfer (*1995 in Klagenfurt) lives and works in Vienna. He is currently studying painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna under Ashley Hans Scheirl.
