Ines Rebelo's DIY (night sky experience) is situated in The Old Police Station's former Gym. This is Ines Rebelo's first show that is programmed esspecially for The Old Police Station. Ines set herself the ambitious task of dismantling and rebuilding a Peugeot 306 within the gallery which was involved with being part of the narrative and also as a site specific response to the use of the former building. 'On 28th September 2009 four drawings by Ines Rebelo disappeared from an exhibition in London. Only one drawing from the series remained in her possession. Interweaving a complex web of references from astronomy, legal disputes and automobile industry. Rebelo's DIY (night sky experience) invites the viewer to an experience somewhere between film and planetarium'
