Joined by Emily Speed, Rob Turner and Neil Kelly Many Artists use their skills and knowledge as artists in a variety of different realms such as working in education or for commission for a variety of public and private organisations. This talk shall explore the artists role outside of galleries and exhibitions and how to find a sustainable practice that enhances your career as well as practical tips on getting paid! How to apply and carry out art commissions in the private and public realm.How to start off as a workshop leader/ creative practitioner and work in the artsHow to keep your audience, students, stakeholders happy and therefore build up your portfolio and client base.
