Debate responding to current exhibition Progress Reports: art in an era of diversity

The recent phenomenon called 'super diversity' describes London as a highly diverse society with people from 176 different nations and 300 different languages spoken. How is this visible in the arts today? Join this debate at Rivington Place responding to current exhibition Progress Reports - an exhibition of sculpture, graphics, painting and film exploring interpretations of 'cultural diversity' and changing attitudes since Iniva (Institute of International Visual Arts, programmer of exhibitions now housed within Rivington Place) was founded 15 years ago. With Naseem Khan OBE, previously Head of Diversity for Arts Council England, Jorella Andrews, Head of the Department of Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths University, Lina Dzuverovic, Director of Electra, and chaired by Colin Prescod, Chair of the Institute of Race Relations. BOOKING ESSENTIAL: email bookings@rivingtonplace.org or call 0207 749 1240 to reserve your place Visit Rivington Place website for exhibition details
