About

Dinner Means Dinner
and other popular sayings …

There is no place like the dinner table for old grudges or new conflicts to surface – Dinner Means Dinner is an original piece responding to the current political climate surrounding Brexit and immigration; and the overflow of contradictory information we are daily bombarded with in the media.

Set around a dinner table, our international ensemble of performers explores the impact of the uncertainties the referendum has carried with it in its wake using newspaper headlines, current research and extracts from Chekhov.

This is our first draft and we can’t wait to share it with you and hear what you have to say!

*A Place Called Home*
The Warmhouse is part of our November public creative laboratory titled A Place Called Home which seeks to interrogate the meaning of home through language, translation and theatre in response to the current political climate, media discourse and public debate surrounding Brexit.
