About

Elizabeth Gleave is our Open Source #05 artist with her series Waste/Land, which looks at waste pollution, migration and nationalism via an area’s specific relationships with it’s water networks (we are showing two; Scotland and Lebanon). Gleave has chosen specific areas where water runs through borders and have been traditional routes of trade, culture and sharing – the series focusses on the visually polluted ecosystems as a way of talking about an urgency to unite and shift focus towards the protection of our environments.
