Contemporary British artist David Theobald uses digital composition and computer-generated animation to produce work that often feels as if it has been shot on a run-down backlot of the Pixar film world.

About

The intensive labour that goes into Theobald’s animations is perversely used to produce images of objects and experiences that we normally go out of our way to avoid. In this talk, artist David Theobald will take you on a visual tour of this strange world and discuss some of the key ideas and techniques that inform his practice.
