The workshop is structured around individual and group work and will be led by experienced sound designer and music composer Marco Lavarone aka Misound who will use examples drawn from his own practice to highlight the main features of various software including Pro tools and Ableton. This workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to investigate the technology and processes used in the production and reproduction of sound in the context of the moving image, dance and mixed media installations. The workshop is suitable for beginners starting from scratch and also for students wanting to get into music. sound design, sound engineering and moving image courses.
