In Jubilee, Queen Elizabeth I is transported to a bleak, broken Britain - where violence and anarchy reign and Buckingham Palace is a recording studio for punk musicians. Serving to upset and unnerve the conventional cinemagoer, Jubilee defines the confrontational abandon of punk cinema.
