The entire display is an experiment on visualising associations. The first pair of works, developed under the notion of ‘synchronicity’, foregrounds an inquiry into what makes a connection compelling and meaningful, just as how the initial randomness in the pair-ups can be rewritten as predestined. Further into the exhibition space, interconnections within a pair amplify as presentations of graphic similarities, contrasts in material or applications, or continuities in action. Consequently, these allow more flexibility in spatial arrangements that challenge the viewers to map out the relationships of the works that crisscrossed the space. The sublime of unheralded connections reverberate once more.
