All three artists “explore” to create new works. Mara and Paul get inspiration from their environment and surroundings whereas Ding Wei's exploration is about life and his inner self.

MARA FABBRO was born in Castello d'Aviano in Italy, where she actually lives and works. She is a self-trained artists, who studied with experts of different materials creating and experimenting a personalised mixed medium technique that portrays her need of materic painting. The themes she represents are inspirations suggested by Nature, related to the environment, the atmospheric changes and the relationship Man/Nature, expressed through a rhythmic language of geometries and graphic images.

Mara expresses the work with the circle as the fundamental element that responds to the needs of harmony and balance. The geometry of the circle is the one that best represents the totality, the unit and the connection between the center and the periphery, to score a circuit that expands to infinity.

PAUL BALLAND is a FrenchBritish, London-based photographer. In the past 15 years, Paul has developed his practice of fine art photographer shooting and collecting a large archive of images and works that are related to places worth to explore for the cultural originality of local communities and their environment. ​His practice explores the relations of urban, natural and industrial environments, mostly derelict and often forgotten, with the aesthetics of the oneiric (a dreamlike reality). Paul research starts from his interest in marginal areas that contain traces of multiple layers of everyday human life and working activities. These traces are often unknown and unperceived to the public attention. ​He researches for places that are of non-aesthetical interest, but that are intensive references of human geographies and local cultures. His attention is not in photo-documentation. Paul explores industrial, residential and environmental landscapes enhancing alternative focuses on them. Starting from exploring sites of interest in cities, suburbs and countryside, Paul identifies chromatic or textural details of walls, pavements, architectural structures, derelict and found objects.

​DING WEI was born in Qingdao, Shandong Province. He studied in Shandong University of Arts, Art College in Qufu Normal University, and completed his Masters degree in 2009. From September 2013 to July 2014, he visited the Studio of Mr. Sui Jianguo as a visiting scholar at China Central Academy of Fine Arts. Currently, he teaches at Art College in Qufu Normal university and works in Rizhao, Shandong. The exhibition features works of the acclaimed artist’s most recent paintings. It Seems Always Wrong No Matter How I Paint represents his bewilderedness of life, and the experimentation undertaken by Ding Wei over the last several years. Ding Wei does not paint in a conventional manner. H​e is constantly questioning the values and meanings of painting today, always ​seeking new breakthroughs within an old and established system. His work deals with universal questions regarding the values and meanings of painting in the contemporary world.​All three artists “explore” to create new works.
