About

The Valentines Mansion Artists share the common experience of working in the studios at the top of the house for a decade. The diversity of our practices and the subject matter of our works are continually influenced by our experiences of this unique location. We have become bound up with the history of the house; its architectural structures, gardens, stories, staff and users affect the work we make. Through our individual approaches and interests we reflect on the past ten years at Valentines in our exhibition Decade.
