Deborah Robinson presents Molecular Laboratory: Re-Presenting Time

A work in progress that explores the relationship between humans and technology in science. In a recent residency at Sanger Laboratory(the genome campus, Cambridge), Deborah created images using a pinhole camera. Using artistic methods involving chance, shifting viewpoints and long exposure times, these images capture traces of activity in the laboratories. There will also be a specially constructed dark room where Deborah will be developing a video projection onto liquids. She will be in the gallery on 13'15 Aug, 10am'12pm & 2'4pm, when the public are welcome to join her in discussion of ideas as the work develops.
