Mathew Davies, Kerstin Drechsel, Jorn Ebner, Nick Fox, Simon Le Ruez, Jock Mooney, Michael Mulvihill, Stephen Palmer, Matthew Smith, Alison Unsworth and Flora Whiteley Aid & Abet present ‘Day In, Day Out' a group exhibition of works for sale from artists represented by Vane gallery in Newcastle upon Tyne. Each artist shares a concern with the construction of new and/or personal narratives using sources ranging from found objects or images, the everyday, the playful and the subconscious — whether drawn from popular culture/mass media, souvenirs, everyday ephemera, art history, mythology, and the built and natural environment.
