About

After discovering a man’s notebook in a bus station the words inside it lead us from cemeteries to Cypress trees. As we float through a landscape built into a swamp, the characters we meet become coordinates on a cognitive map. Shot in New Orleans, DATLIKWID LAND re-approaches the relationship between author John Kennedy Toole and the main character of his novel, A Confederacy of Dunces, as the creation of a fictional outsider to disrupt ones casual constellation of meanings and re-view the city in which he lived.
