About

Bristol has one of the oldest and most established Black communities in the United Kingdom. This film celebrates The Elders - their community, history and culture. Watergate Bay draws on the improvisations of eight dancers responding to the coastal landscape of North Cornwall. Two Restrictions on Contraction explores the genre of the figurenude on screen. Bleak is an experimental dance film exploring the notions of abandonment, temptation and manipulation. There is a shipwreck in my bones - living sculptures, in stillness, observing and then moving as the sea ebbs and drags beside them.
