DAD ART - David Callas

On leaving school at the age of fifteen he embarked on an engineering apprenticeship and this was very likely the source of his creativity. David married in 1962 and had three children. As with many young families at that time they were far from well off so his creativity was employed in making furniture, ornaments and toys, some of which you can see here alongside his paintings that move from figurative through to abstraction.
