Cyanotype is an alternative photographic printing process that uses sunlight and special chemicals to produce cyan-blue prints.
Join me for a 2 hour hands-on Cyanotype Printmaking workshop at ACAVA Arts 54 Blechnyden Street North Kensington .
About
During this workshop, you will learn the historical and contemporary story of Cyanotype printmaking; make your own Cyanotype paper; create 2 types of Cyanotype print: photogram and negative on a variety of paper stocks.
You will leave the workshop with 2 of your own unique Cyanotype prints to take home along with a two pieces of Cyanotype paper and a handout on the Cyanotype process so you can try out Cyanotype printmaking at home.
This event is perfect for anyone interested in alternative photography and/or printmaking, or just looking to try something new. No previous experience is required.
