About
Young people from Sheffield are collaborating with Site Gallery on a new exhibition, Cutting Shapes, creating a multi-media installation exploring dance, fashion, photography and design. They have commissioned artist Harold Offeh to work with them and other youth groups across the city.
Youth identity, urban landscape and internet culture will be the heart of the exhibition, which will feature artworks devised by local young people, Harold Offeh and Site Gallery: participants will be creating new photography in various Sheffield locations, co-designing a magazine about the project, helping choreograph a new dance piece with Sheffield-based Hype Dance Studio, and selecting video works for a screening room within the gallery.
