About
The North London Art Hub is delighted to announce its forthcoming show of The Corridor Exhibition series, associated with the North London Makers’ Market.
‘Currently, is This The Future?’ is a group exhibition representing the works by emerging, North London-based Artists and Graphic Designers. The premise for the multi-discipline show is simple, and as the title suggests. It is nevertheless apposite. Commencing during the week prior to the General Election; a moment on which our prospective political landscape could pivot, the show acknowledges that meditations on the state of the current, and envisaged future whether painted in hope, logic or in foreboding are of paramount importance.
The ‘Corridor’ exhibitions are a series that takes place inside the domesticity of a Warehouse Unit, communal living space. Whereas before each one of these exhibitions has promoted an interesting result in curation, it’s instead this turn the philanthropic benefit such a style of home affects; what wishes to be celebrated throughout this edition is the rapturous defiance which exuberates out of the microcosm, against London’s ever-increasingly unfavourable economic conditions.
We look forward to you coming and for you to explore with us the ‘inside of North’.
