Join us for a discussion about how a whole-school approach to welcoming new arrivals can create a thriving community for everyone.
Creative processes have long been used to support refugee children and unaccompanied young people to be better included in education and there is much evidence of the positive impact on inclusions, wellbeing, learning and progression. There is also some evidence of the impact on the whole school, where creative approaches have been used in this way.
Aimed at teachers, artists, learning managers.
Chaired by poet, journalist and photographer Ambrose Musiyiwa, with contributions from Music Action International, Janice Allen, Headteacher at Falinge High School and actor writer and director Yusra Warsama.
