Join Jane Findlay, curator of Helen Frankenthaler: Radical Beauty for an exciting introduction to the exhibition. Through this online talk, Jane will shine a light on the processes involved in Frankenthaler’s ground-breaking woodcuts.

About

The talk will reveal the artist's unique approach to the woodcut, and how she collaborated with others to achieve her vision. You will gain an insight into the artist's unique process and her 'no rules’ approach.

There will be a Q&A session at the end of the conversation.

Jane Findlay is Dulwich Picture Gallery’s Head of Programme and Engagement and the curator of the Helen Frankenthaler: Radical Beauty exhibition. She specialises in audience development and interpretation and believes in creating ambitious and accessible programmes for all. She has worked in UK museums and galleries for 14 years and her experience spans the British Museum, National Maritime Museum, Kenwood House and the London Transport Museum.

Got a question you’d like us to cover in the Q&A? Email learning@dulwichpicturegallery.org.uk in advance with ‘Curator’s Question’ in the subject line and we’ll do our best to answer as many as we can on the day.

The Talk and Q&A will take place online over Zoom. Ticket holders will be sent a link in advance.

This talk will be recorded.
