Coming up next in terms of Cultivate, a stall or a space rocket at the Art Car Boot Fair's main event of the year The Art Car Boot Fair Goes Into Space at Kings Cross. This is the 2024 for the Art Car Boot Fair, one of London's best art days of the year

About

Coming up next in terms of Cultivate activity, a stall or a boot or a space rocket at the Art Car Boot Fair's main event of the year The Art Car Boot Fair Goes Into Space at Kings Cross, London. The main event in terms of the Art Car Boot Fair

We shall be sharing a space or a stall at the fair, we being Cultivate founders Sean Worrall and Emma Harvey, as always there's a number of Cultivate-associated artists taking part amongst the 120 or so invited artists, the full list is just down there (although I expect a few more have been added to that list now. The Art Car Boot Fair is always a very carefully curated thing, it is always an honour to be included and it is always an exciting thing, an artist-friendly thing one of the very few artist-friendly art fairs) as well as an rather art collector friendly event.

This is a chance to buy directly from the artists, to interact with the artists, to cut out the galleries and the commissions and everything else and but art at prices you won't find elsewhere, it is as car boot fair after all.

It is a ticketed event, you do have to pay to get in (until the last hour, it is free entry after 5pm), there are various price options all day, under 16s with adult do get in free all day - go explore the ticket page for more info - https://www.artcarbootfair.com/tickets

Of course the Art Car Boot Fair isn’t just about the art, it isn’t just another art fair, it is an artist-friendly properly curated artist-led thing, it is a brilliant chance to buy directly from artists rather than via galleries and the cut they take, it is a chance to engage with the artists and get that piece of art at a price you won’t find anywhere else, but is also an art party and it is as much about the music, the atmosphere, the people watching, the dancing, the hula-hoops, the late afternoon chaos, the fun and games, it is a day when art lets her hair down, a day to dance with friends and have a brilliant time, I love taking part in the Art Car Boot Fair and space is the place, art excites….

The will be lots of music, the excellent LowLife DJs will be there with their NY House party, worth it jsut for their sets!

Oh and for those of you who can't get to London there will be an week-long on line version starting on the same day...
