- Trains run out of Liverpool Street Station, London, every 30mins to Colchester North Station. The studios are a short taxi ride from the station, or a twenty-five minute walk.
Cuckoo Farm Studios will be open to the public from 11am on Saturday 8th September to 6pm on Sunday 9th September.
About
Cuckoo Farm Studios is a rural workspace located on the edge of historic Colchester. It was established in 1992 when a small group of artists moved in and began to turn this derelict farm into a suitable establishment for practicing professional artists to work from.
Since then it has grown to house over 30 studios and prides itself on the professionalism of its artists and the reputation that they bring to the organisation.
Once a year the tenant artists open their doors to the general public. This is a great opportunity to explore the range of practices that Cuckoo Farm embodies, talk to artists, buy artwork directly from the makers, and expore the buildings and grounds that comprise this unique studio space.
Artists will be in their studios and printmakers in the Print Workshop.
Parking is free and refreshments will be available.
