About
Formed from collected dust and recomposed or crushed found material, Andrew Rickett plays with the expectation of designed object-hood, sculpture and drawing finding cadence between the combined agencies of human intention and ‘matter-realism’. These works are crafted complexity; mixes of matter, gesture, data, image, histories, scale, creation, rebirth, utility, reality, and myth spun over differential dimensions of 3D and 2D.
