The urge to transform our lives through migration is strong, especially for those escaping war-torn, oppressed and ravaged communities. For them, it is a question of survival.
More broadly, migration applies to processes in science such as the movement of atoms within a molecule – a movement of one part of something to another.
This exhibition hopes to capture some perceptions and what migration means to each artist/printmaker.
South Coast Printmakers (SCP) is a collective of independent printmakers who live and work in Sussex and Kent. This is the first show in series of exhibitions intended to promote printmaking in the South East.
