CRISTINA ROCA: SHAKING IDIOSYNCRASIES

About

SAVE THE DATE!! Join us for this exciting long weekend of events where visual art, dance performance and projections will awake your sensorial experiences!! Cristina Roca: Shaking Idiosyncrasies takes place at Hold & Freight, an alternative brick arch shaped gallery that provides and exciting, bold and unique visual and sound experience located in East London. The event presents a compilation of Cristina Roca's trajectory showing her most recent and matured productions. Her works reflect a physical lecture upon the conceptual trend using pictorial materialism as an essential way of expression; a fusion of her cultural background mixing the intuitive Peruvian folklore (Chicha culture) and her deconstructive idea of contemporary European artistic enlightenment. The solo exhibition is combined with a variety of events that explore the topic of transmovements and idiosyncrasies questioning the meaning of conventional geographies and boundaries. A dance performance, a debate and a film screening characterized by a chaotic individualism dialogue with Critina Roca´s oeuvre during this long weekend. Please check www.cristinaroca.com and discover the programme we have prepared for you!!
