CREATIVE DEBUTS - ART MARKET is a free day long event bringing together the most exciting independent publishers, emerging artists and designers to show off, promote, share, and sell their creative wares. The fair will include 30 stalls featuring the work of local and national makers and a programme of creative workshops running alongside.
WORKSHOP PROGRAMME
11.00 - 13.00 - Learn to crochet (Hosted by @crochetactivist)
Learn to crochet, and explore how it can be used in the context of activism and self-care! This workshop will cover the basics of crochet and encourage conversation around social issues and our community which may inform design and its process.

13.30 - 15.30 - Reckless Mono-Printing Workshop (Hosted by @bowerbirdspace)
The workshop will introduce mono-printing with enough guidance to easily make a great print regardless of skill or experience. Mono printing is simple, easy and fun way of producing great looking artwork without the pressure of total control (and lots of opportunities to try again!).

Analogue collage is the process of disturbing paper images by cutting them up and rearranging the shapes to create a new picture. It's a fun opportunity for you to let your mind go and your imagination run wild, and have take-home evidence of how weird it can really get.
